This 72-year-old renewed Cape Point in Moss Hill community in Jamaica Plain features a set of four wooden ladder-shaped gold-shaped stairs. The front door with serrated glass panels and woodcut patterns leads to a foyer, a bit like an airlock in a New England home: before opening the French doors and entering the foyer, there is space to take off your shoes and place them in the main living area of ​​the foyer closet.

Renewed regularly over the years, this house offers something unusual for the cape: two bedrooms on the first floor. Both have single-door closets, red oak floors and two windows. One room is currently used as a home office. The living room, dining room, kitchen and full bathroom occupy the other two thirds of this floor. The living room is just to the left of the entrance and offers some visually fascinating features, including a wood-burning fireplace, which is the original of the house but not used by the owner. The rear deck overlooks a gently sloping backyard. There is a one-car garage in the house.
